Police cars, did Volvo have them reenforced?

Hello guys

Does somebody know if Volvo had the police version of the 7/900 reenforced? I would imagine, that the police drives their cars a wee bit faster and harder than most people do. Did Volvo strengthen the body of those cars when they were turned into police cars?

To my knowledge the cars were stock 164 hp turbo with the chassi-brace under the car near the gearbox(also called Ambulans-stag). Not sure if they had any more reenforcement then that back then. I can find articles about the V70 stating that they were reenforced so it is possible they started already back then.
