Hello guys (m/f)
A couple of weeks ago, I added a third/center brake light to my 945. I'm sure I have two green bulb failure relay somewhere. Unfortunately, I can't find them. But I do have a yellow bulb failure relay.
Can somebody please tell me: a) what's the difference between the green one and the yellow one and b) can I use the yellow one instead of a green one?
Sincerely
Mathy

Re: bulb failure relay
Not completely sure, but I think the rear fail sensor unit is located behind the left upholstery in your trunk. Either remove it or just bend it out a bit and take it out. If it is there it is probably attached with a clip that you can see if you lift the left lid and look carefully on the outer support.
I can provide a picture from my -95 960 if you want.
It is not the same relay, but it is probably located at the same place.

Hello Eda
Thanks for your response. But the 940 doesn't have a rear light failure relay.
I found one of my green bulb failure relays a while ago, BTW.

Re: bulb failure relay
I saw it in a wiring diagram, but cannot find it again.
Maybe I looked at the wrong diagram.
